(Original Caption) Atlanta, Georgia Police used tear gas to disperse a crowd of 1,000 strikers that blocked a spur railroad track at the Exposition Cotton Mills here on September 6, 1934. Fifteen hundred employees, the entire force, was out on strike at this mill. Some of the strikers are shown here as they congregated near the plant.
