France's Motorists Inspired By Ottowa 'Freedom Convoy' Protest Defy Ban To Converge In Paris

Truckers in Canada have blockaded the main access roads to Ottawa, including border crossings to the USA, since January 29, 2022 protesting at government-imposed Coronavirus pandemic restrictions. Originally the "Freedom Convoy" was formed in response to Canadian truckers crossing the border to the US facing a vaccinate-or-quarantine mandate. It has now become a wider spread protest making its way across the globe to France where vaccine pass protesters will form a convoy to block access to the country's capital this weekend, despite a government ban on the action.
