FRANCE - FEBRUARY 27: Andre Citroen, French engineer and car manufacturer, October 1928. Signed photograph of Citroen (1878-1935) who studied engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris. He joined the car builders Automobiles Mors in 1908. In 1912 he visited Henry Ford's mass production line in Detroit, USA, and exported the idea to France, first making armaments during WWI, and then in 1919 mass-producing small, inexpensive cars.
