Afghans Try To Keep Warm During First Snownfall Of The Season

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN - JANUARY 26: An Afghan boy warms his hands at a tented camp during the first snowfall this winter January 26, 2003 on the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan. There are 57 tents filled with families, who came to Kabul in the last eight months from refugee camps in both Iran and Pakistan hoping for work and shelter. The poverty stricken Afghans complain that the rent in Kabul is now too high for them to afford housing so they are living out the harsh winter in tents.
