An activist wearing the red jumpsuit of Palestine Action

LEICESTER, UNITED KINGDOM - 2024/04/11: An activist wearing the red jumpsuit of Palestine Action sits attached to the car steering wheel by a D-lock around his neck outside the Elbit factory. Two activists from Palestine Action drive two cars into bollards at Elbitís factory gates and locked themselves to the steering wheels with a D-lock around their necks to prevent workers entering the site. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Tactical System (UTACS) factory is owned by Israeli arms company Elbit Systems. It is one of seven establishments Elbit has in the UK producing arms and drones for the Israelis. Persistent direct action from Palestine Action has caused Elbit to close three businesses in the UK in the last three years and they say they will not stop targeting Elbit and their subsidiary and partner companies until they leave the UK for good.
