Anti-PKK operation continues in southeastern Turkey

DIYARBAKIR, TURKEY: This footage provided by Governorship of Diyarbakir on March 09, 2017 shows Turkish Gendarmerie special operations teams carrying out anti-terror operation in Diyarbakir's Lice district and in eastern Bingol province’s Genc district against the terrorist organization PKK. The operation aims to destroy shelters, warehouses and anti-aircraft positions of the terror group. It is also gathering evidence of links between the PKK terror group and the people involved in the production and trade of drugs in the area, according to a military source.
