Jeffrey Hawthorne has been composing and performing original music for 24 years. Attending college at the University of New Mexico, he broadened his love of classical music and studied piano before returning to California and joining the San Diego ska band Buck O Nine, spending the next several years touring the world as its drummer, recording nine albums and serving as a co-producer and co-writer on most. Given his diverse expertise in multiple genres, Jeff's eclectic film scores range from punk to classical for the indie feature, Everybody Hates Jeff, in which he also starred, to the Bernard Herrmann-inspired soundtrack for Random Cove's Going Down. His latest projects include scoring a new feature for director Len K, Warriors of the Apocalypse.
