Saxophonist/Flutist/Composer Robert Kyle has become known for his unique warm sound, melodic style, and his ability to harmoniously cross musical borders. His lyricism and passion are evident in whatever situation he finds himself, and he is fluid in many styles including Jazz, Blues, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, R & B and Classical. His performing and recording credits include work with Cee Lo Green, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bolton, Michael McDonald, Natalie Cole, Vince Gill, Jason Mraz, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Kenny Loggins, Brenda Russell, Lou Rawls, Della Reese, Seu Jorge, Googoosh, Chaka Khan, Babyface, Jessica Simpson and many more. He has been a featured soloist on hundreds of recordings, has played for the Academy awards, the Emmy awards, The BET awards and many others. In addition to a very active studio career playing for TV, film and jingles, Robert has released 9 CDs under his own name. He’s also a highly skilled arranger & producer and has produced and arranged CDs for Leslie Paula, Carol Bach-y-Rita, Miguel Gutierrez, Betty Bryant, Braziliando, The HI-Fi-Quintet and many others. He’s also been the musical director for blues diva Linda Hopkins, Leslie Paula, Miguel Gutierrez, and “Jazz Bliss Brazil” to name a few. He has performed internationally at many of the biggest Jazz festivals & venues in the world.
