Dead Sardines Crowd California Harbor By The Millions

REDONDO BEACH, CA - MARCH 9: A tractor dumps dead fish into a trash bin as workers and volunteers continue to clean up millions of dead sardines for a second day in King Harbor on March 9, 2011 in Redondo Beach, California. Wildlife experts are focusing on a theory that enormous schools of the small fish may have gotten confused or trapped in the harbor while sheltering from rough wind-driven seas then died after breathing all the available oxygen.
