Last Germanwings Crash Victims Are Buried Near Crash Site

The last unidentified remains of victims of the crash were buried at the cemetery of nearby St. Marthe's Church in a closed ceremony. 150 people died in the March crash that was caused by co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, who was suffering from severe and long-term depression and deliberately piloted the plane into a mountainside not far from Le Vernet. Meanwhile a group of family members of victims in Germany have publicly critisized Lufthansa, the parent company of Germanwings, for what they claim are meager offers of financial compensation.
