Profesor Bartoszewski, a talented man, made a career as a Polish politician, a social activist, journalist, writer, historian and diplomat. He was a World War II resistance fighter and underground activist, former Auschwitz prisoner, and a participant of the Warsaw Uprising. His achievements include being Double-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator for four terms, from 2007 to 2015 as well as Secretary of State in the Prime Minister's Office.
