AL-RAM, WEST BANK, PALESTINE - 2015/01/30: A masked Palestinian youth rolls a lit tire down the street towards Israeli soldiers who were stationed outside the Palestinian village of Al-Ram in the West Bank. There was relative calm during Friday in the West Bank Palestine, with relatively few demonstrations against the Israeli occupation in Palestinian towns and villages. In the Palestinian village of Al-Ram, just outside Ramallah in the West Bank, near the Israeli checkpoint, Qalandia, several youths gathered to protest from the village. Israeli soldiers cordoned off the main road leading to Al-Ram by setting up cement blockades in the middle of the road. Though a few masked Palestinian youth attempted to throw rocks at the soldiers who were stationed opposite of the entrance, the soldiers were quick to fire tear gas at Palestinian youth. Later, soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets at the youth and later fired volleys of tear gas into civilian homes and businesses.
