Indonesia faces new threat in terrorism

SOLO, INDONESIA - FEBRUARY 3: Indonesian men pray at a fundamentalist mosque on February 3, 2016 in Solo, Indonesia. Solo, a medium sized Central Java town, is once again the focus of those studying the radicalisation muslims as Indonesia faces terror threats from a new generation of muslim militants. Solo is home to many of Indonesia's most radical Islamic militants including those involved in the Bali Bomb attacks, a spiritual leader of Jemaah Islamiyah, Abu Baker Basher, and a number of militants who have gone on to fight in Syria with ISIS. Some terrorism experts point to the many fundamentalist mosques and preachers, who while not militant themselves can become a pathway for further radicalisation of devout young men.
