FRANCE - MARCH 28: Eric Cantona taking part in the first edition of Nestle tour beach soccer in La Reunion France On March 28, 2005-Former international French player Eric Cantona and selector of French beach soccer team took part in an exhibition game of Nestle tour beach soccer. The event was organized by even Sport and the association promoting beach soccer in La Reunion directed by Claude Barrabe, former French goalkeeper and fervent beach soccer defender. 8 teams of diffenrent categories from the under 15 to the seniors took part in the tournament. Eric Cantona took part in a match with footballers from The Reunion to promote the event. Next October a tournament is organized with professional teams, among which the French team.
